As a family owned and operated business, Coles Chimney Specialists has worked with solid fuel chimneys and fireplaces since the early 1970s. We've been very involved in the safety of solid fuel heating since we started in the business. We also found that many installers took shortcuts during their initial installations.
Since then, many poorly installed appliances have been rectified by our heating specialists. In the early 90s, the heating industry throughout New Zealand adopted a standard that we developed for safety checking appliances and installations.
